Victoria Hall

In the name of Queen Victoria, the princely and wealthy families of the district built Victoria Memorial Hall on the banks of the city's pucca pond. When the British government advised the princes to please Queen Victoria of England who was visiting India. It has been preserved not only as a fight for freedom but also with some other memories on the banks of the Pakka Talab. On 15 August 1957, to erase the memories of the British rule, the Victoria Memorial Hall was renamed as Kamala Nehru Hall and the Ashoka Pillar was installed in the middle of the pucca pond. It was a sign that India is now independent.
